About The Area

where is Secret spot villa?

Secret Spot Villa is in Ahangama, a bustling little fishing village on the South West Coast of Sri Lanka, about 2.5 hours drive from the international airport.

The villa itself is an easy 5-minute stroll under the palm trees to the famous Kabalana Beach and a 15-minute walk into the centre of town or a quick tuk tuk journey!

Over the last few years Ahangama has slowly grown - attracting surfers from around the globe with its range of amazing surf spots and also those looking for something a bit quieter and more chilled than spots like Weligama.

The best time to visit is during the dry season, which runs from late October to early May, with December to March being peak season.

From Ahangama it’s an easy tuk tuk journey to other destinations along the coast such as Weligama Beach, Midigama, Mirissa and even Hiriketiya.

You can even take a day trip to the National Parks and spend the day looking out for elephants and even leopards too!

So whether you’re looking to spend heaps of time surfing, just want to relax in your own slice of paradise Ahangama is a great base for your Sri Lanka adventure, no matter what you want to get up to.
