Sleeping up to 4 guests across 2 bedrooms, Secret Spot Villa is ideal for families, couples, and small groups of friends travelling together.

Both bedrooms are spacious, with double height ceilings and filled with natural light. Enjoy A/C, built in wardrobes, hot water showers, ceiling fans, surfboard racks and large sliding doors opening up onto the outside areas.

And of course, one of the best things about Secret Spot Villa is your own private swimming pool!

Whether you’re looking to escape the tropical heat or fancy a post-surf swim, you can jump right in.

Measuring 7m x 2.5m, with Baja step, you’ll have plenty of space to enjoy the water.

And at night why not turn on the pool lights for an evening dip or enjoy the beautiful shimmering lights whilst enjoying the warm tropical evenings?

Alongside the pool is a spacious patio area, perfect for some poolside alfresco dining, or yoga and the adjoining garden comes complete with sun loungers for you to top up your tan.

In the garden, you’ll be amongst the palm trees and surrounded by a variety of tropical flora and fauna, including our own coconut palms, so enjoy a slice of paradise.

And for the surfers staying with us, we’ve got an outdoor shower so you can rinse off after a day at the beach before cooling down in the A/C.

As well as all the facilities you’d expect from a private villa, we want to make our guests stay as awesome as possible, which is why we’ve got a few added extras to really make you feel at home and enjoy your stay with us:

  • Surfing - with waves within walking distance we’ve got surfboard racks in each bedroom, so you can keep your quiver safe. There is also ample space under the beds to store your board bags and the ceiling height throughout the villa double height, so even longboards are no worries!

  • Yoga - we’ve teamed up with local yoga company Dahara Vidya so the villa comes with premium yoga mats and blocks, so you can “get your Om on” under the palm trees

  • Remote working - if you’re planning on working remotely we’ve got you covered, with up high speed fibre optic broadband, up to 200mbps. The kitchen island also has power points built in so you can soak up pool views whilst replying to emails without having to worry about your battery life.

  • Boutique hand and body wash - refresh after a day enjoying the sunshine with our boutique body wash and hand wash from local supplier Secrets of The Sun, capturing the tropical scents of Sri Lanka.

  • Universal power points - all the key power points in the villa are universal, so no need for travel adaptors. They also have USB ports too so you can easily charge your devices.


the location

Secret Spot Villa is located in Ahangama, around a 2.5 hour drive south of Bandaranaike International Airport (CMB).

This bustling little fishing village has grown hugely in popularity, in no small part because of the range of waves on offer.

The villa itself is an easy 5-minute stroll under the palm trees to the famous Kabalana Beach and a 15-minute walk into the centre of town, or a quick tuk tuk 5 minute journey.

When it comes to food, the surrounding area has a variety of options to choose from, including local restaurants, international cuisine, and cafes.

So whether you fancy some incredible local curries, a pizza, or maybe even some Mexican, take your pick.

Within an easy tuk tuk journey of the villa, you’ll also find a range of other tourist hotspots and attractions, including Galle Fort, Weligama Beach, tea plantations, whale watching, Udawalawe National Park, and more.
